JURY VERDICT - $22,340.00

False Repossession - Client purchased a used car from a local dealer, and while being repaired at the dealer’s service center, the dealer drafted false repossession documents and kept possession of the vehicle. A jury found the dealer liable and assessed punitive damages in the amount of $20,000, awarding

Plaintiff a total of $22,340.

FALSE REPOSSESSION - SEALED SETTLEMENT

Local auto dealer retaliated against the Client for reporting the business to the DMV for unethical and illegal activities. Auto dealer began to stalk Client and eventually stole the vehicle from Client’s driveway at his home, and eventually resold vehicle. Parties settled for an undisclosed amount.

The case settled prior to trial.

WRONGFUL DEATH - SEALED SETTLEMENT

Working alongside famed Attorney Willie E. Gary, Attorney Fox and the team at Gary, Williams, Parenti, Watson, and Gary (https://www.garylawgroupfl.com), represented the victim’s parents who were devastated when their only child was struck by a negligent delivery driver and killed, while attempting to enter his vehicle right outside of his home. The case settled prior to trial.

MALICIOUS PROSECUTION - SEALED SETTLEMENT

While shopping in a large international retailer, Client was targeted and followed by the staff while shopping, and eventually accused of stealing several items. Despite having allowed a search which revealed no stolen items, the retailer professed to have video footage and client was arrested and charged with larceny and a host of other crimes. After several court hearings, the District Attorney dismissed all charges due to retailers failure to turn over any surveillance footage of Client stealing. Client’s high level executive position in banking was immediately effected despite subsequent expunction. The case settled prior to trial.

ALIENATION OF AFFECTION and CRIMINAL CONVERSATION - SEALED SETTLEMENT

Wife secured texts and photos of exchanges between her husband of 36 years, and a married woman with whom he had regular business. After confronting both parties, evidence showed husband attempted to terminate the affair, but married business woman continued to pursue and husband did not resist. The marriage could not recover. Wife divorced husband and sued mistress. The case settled prior to trial.
